NDLEA Nabs Allege Drug Dealer in Anambra

On Thursday, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested suspected drug dealer Emeka Nwadiaro, also known as Mega, in an attempt to export drugs to Dubai, UAE, at a logistic company in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

In a statement disclosed by the Federal Agency spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, on Sunday, to the pressmen, Babafemi stated that the consignment averted to be exported included 3.6 kg of Loud and a strain of cannabis concealed in 36 water flasks.

In the spokesperson disclosure, it was gathered that Mega, the owner of the drugs found inside the flasks, was intercepted in Onitsha, Anambra State, after a follow-up on that same day.

“An attempt by Emeka Nwadiaro (a.k.a. Mega) to export 3.6 kg of Loud, a strain of cannabis concealed in 36 water flasks, to Dubai, UAE, was also thwarted at a logistic company in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Thursday, May 16th, while a swift follow-up operation led to the arrest of the owner of the consignment, Emeka Nwadiaro, in Onitsha, Anambra State, the same day,” the statement read.

Mohamed Marwa, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NDLEA, commended the team for their efforts that led to the arrest of the suspect.
