Pathologist Unable to Determine Cause of Mohbad’s Death

A pathologist who conducted an autopsy on the body of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, has reported that the cause of death remains uncertain.

According to Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Wahab Shittu, who spoke to reporters in Lagos State on Wednesday, the pathologist informed the coroner that the condition of the deceased’s body had deteriorated significantly by the time the examination was performed.

Shittu explained, “According to him (the pathologist), the cause of death cannot be determined because, at the time of the examination, the body had decomposed to a point where it was not possible to ascertain the cause of death. So, essentially, he is stating that the cause of death cannot be determined. When a cause of death cannot be determined, it suggests suspicion and lack of clarity, with no specific reason identified.”

Additionally, Shittu disclosed that the pathologist suggested the possibility that Mohbad’s death could have been a result of a reaction to certain medications administered to him before his demise. “He also mentioned that it might be linked to a reaction from specific medications given to him prior to his death.

However, he clarified that he cannot definitively attribute the drugs to causing his death,” Shittu elaborated.

The uncertainties surrounding Mohbad’s death have left many questions unanswered, with authorities continuing to investigate the circumstances leading to the untimely passing of the young musician.
