Widow of bolt driver narrates hardship after murder of husband

The widow of a slain e-hailing bolt driver, Ebere Daniel has narrated to our correspondent how hardship has increased in her family after the killing of her husband.

The slain bolt driver, Emmanuel Daniel, was reportedly shot dead by hoodlums in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

The widow of three children said, “Things have never been the same since the killing of my husband.

“What I think every day is justice for my husband and how me and my children can survive this untold hardship forced upon us after the murder of my husband.

“I really want the government and other well-meaning citizens to help us; we are really going through economic hardship.”

The remains of the bolt driver have been deposited in the mortuary while the police in the state have launched an investigation to unravel the killers of Daniel.

A verified report from our news desk also has it that the state police command had taken custody of a teenage robber who was caught by a vigilante group within the Diobu axis of Port Harcourt.

The leader of the vigilante group, Prince Amatari who confirmed the handing over of the suspect to the police said the 14-year-old, whose name could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report was caught with a gun.
