Tinubu nominates Wike, Umahi for ministerial positions; Abe misses out

Bola Tinubu has nominated former Governors Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna), Nyesom Wike (Rivers) and David Umahi (Ebonyi) for ministerial positions.

Umahi is the currently a senator representing Ebonyi South.

The gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP in Rivers in the March 18th election, Magnus Abe, was missing in the list of nominees despite calls for his nomination by different pressure groups.

Also on the list is Dele Alake, who currently serve as media spokesman of Tinubu.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio reeled out the names at plenary on Thursday.
