I’ll dedicate my time to making impactful laws – Banigo

The immediate past deputy governor of Rivers State and senator representing the Rivers West Senatorial District, Dr Ipalibo Harry Banigo, has promised to give due attention and undivided representation to the challenges faced by the people of her district.

Senator Ipalibo Harry Banigo, while speaking to journalists shortly after the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly on Wednesday in Abuja, revealed that her election into the upper legislative chamber is to produce a transformational assembly.

She added that she is positioned to touch the lives of her constituents and Nigerians in every possible way. She further revealed that, as a mother, she would join her women colleagues in the Senate to progress on the issues of gender, disabilities, youth, and children to give them a voice for solutions.

Dr (Mrs) Ipalibo Banigo hinted that they would put together laws that would advance their acceptability and ability to gain jobs and be self-employed to impact their communities.

She applauded Nigerian students for their doggedness, talents, and significant initiatives for success.

Dr Banigo said she would do her best to keep them engaged and contribute positively to their communities.

She joins 17 other women who made it to the Red and Green Chambers of the 10th National Assembly.
