FIDA felicitates with Fubara on his inauguration as governor

The International Federation of Women Lawyers in Rivers State has congratulated Sim Fubara on his inauguration as the Governor of the state.

A statement signed by FIDA chairperson, Adata Bio-Briggs and Publicity Secretary/Editor, Sophia I.J Afolayan expressed confidence in Governor Fubara.

It read in parts, “The International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Nigeria, Rivers State Branch, extends its heartfelt congratulations to Sir Siminalayi Fubara on his inauguration as the Governor of Rivers State.

“As an organization focused on promoting women’s rights, gender equality, and access to justice, FIDA Nigeria, Rivers State Branch, is particularly pleased to acknowledge Governor Fubara’s previous engagement in championing these vital causes.

“We firmly believe that under his administration, women’s rights will be protected, and gender – based violence will be effectively addressed, creating an inclusive society where all individuals can thrive.

“FIDA Nigeria, Rivers State Branch, wholeheartedly pledges its unwavering support to Governor Fubara’s administration.

“We eagerly anticipate the implementation of policies and programmes that will empower women, promote their active participation in governance, and foster an environment of equal opportunities for all citizens.

“FIDA Nigeria, Rivers State Branch, is confident that under his able guidance, the state will witness significant progress, marked by compassion, inclusivity, transparency, and a commitment to addressing the diverse needs of its residents.

“FIDA Nigeria, Rivers State Branch, seizes this opportunity to congratulate Governor Fubara once again on his well-deserved victory.

“We express our readiness to collaborate with his administration in building a prosperous and gender – responsive Rivers State.”
