Tinubu arrives Port Harcourt, commissions Rumuokwuta/Rumuola flyover

President-elect Bola Tinubu has arrived Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, on a 2-days visit to commission some projects by Governor Nyesom Wike.

Recall that Wike on Tuesday declared a holiday on Wednesday to welcome Tinubu to the state.

Tinubu, who arrived on Wednesday morning, was received by the governor and his entourage at the Port Harcourt International Airport.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila as well as the governors of Jigawa, Oyo, Ebonyi, Kwara, Imo, amongst others accompanied Tinubu to the function.

Several supporters of the governor were also present to receive the President-elect as they were allowed into the tarmac area under strict security control.

The President-elect, who commissioned the Rumuokwuta/Rumola flyover shortly after arrival, will be hosted at a state banquet later in the evening.
