All of us in Rivers State are supporting Tinubu – Asari Dokubo

Asari Dokubo, a former Niger Delta militant leader says everyone in Rivers State is supporting the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu.

Asari said there would be no problem in Rivers State during the presidential election because almost all the political stakeholders support the same candidate.

Speaking during a courtesy visit by the gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party, Magnus Abe, he said he had changed his mind on his push for the gubernatorial seat to be zoned to the Ogonis where Abe hails from.

In a viral video, Asari said: “We will not have problems during the presidential election in Rivers State because almost all of us are on the same boat.”

His claims come days after the chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area, Samuel Nwanosike said the elders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state have resolved to work for the presidential candidate of the APC.

Also, Abe is rumoured to be fronting for the APC presidential candidate.
