UNIPORT announces resumption of academic activities

The University of Port Harcourt has announced the resumption of academic activities.

This follows the suspension of the industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

In a memorandum released by the institution on Friday, it announced that academic activities have resumed, urging students to visit the University website to view academic calendar.

ASUU had been on strike since February 14 over the federal government’s refusal to fulfil the agreement between both parties.
