Breaking: Wike, four governors pull out of PDP’s presidential campaign council

Governors of Rivers, Oyo, Enugu, and Abia have pulled out of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential campaign council pending the resignation of the party’s chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.

Others who attended the meeting include Former governors of Cross River and Ondo, Donald Duke and Olusegun Mimiko.

Rising from their meeting in Port Harcourt on Wednesday morning, members of the team pledged not to participate in Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential candidate of the PDP’s campaign activities pending the resignation of the party’s National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.
