Uche Secondus salutes Atiku, says PDP ready for 2023

The former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus has commeneded the party’s Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and the National Executive Committee (NEC) for stabilizing the party ahead of the 2023 election.

Secondus said the decision taken at the 97th NEC meeting has further strengthened the party’s unity to succeed in next year’s polls.

In a statement on Friday, the former PDP National Chairman noted that the outcome of the NEC meeting showed the party is set and ready for victory.

He commended the immediate Past Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) Senator Walid Jibrin for his voluntary resignation in the interest of peace, harmony, and unity in the party.

Secondus congratulated Governors Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State and Seyi Makinde of Oyo State for their appointment as the director general of the campaign council and chairman of the PDP Governors Forum respectively.

The PDP chieftain also congratulated former Senate President Adolphus Wabara who was elected the acting Chairman of the BOT and charged all members of the party to put all hands on deck for the victory of PDP and Atiku.
