Former Rivers police command spokesman, Nnamdi Omoni is dead

Nnamani Omoni, former public relations officer of the Rivers State Police Command has died.

Omoni died on Tuesday in Port Harcourt, police sources said, five days after celebrating his birth. the reason for his death was not immediately clear.

Omoni relinquished the position of spokesman after he was promoted to a Superintendent of Police. He was subsequently made with the Divisional Police officer of Elimgbu police division.

As of the time of filing this report, the police command was yet to issue a statement on his death.
