Leloonu Nwibubasa, a former Commissioner for Employment in Rivers State has alleging that the state government was hatching plans to arrest him and seal off his hospital.
This follows the claims that he treated suspected cultists at the facility.
Nwibubasa is an ally of Senator Lee Maeba and a supporter of PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar who has been in a face off with the governor.
He,, however, said that no amount of threat can stop him from exercising his franchise which has is guaranteed under the constitution to do.
Nwibubasa also accused the Chairman of Khana Local Government Area, Thomas Bariere, of allegedly sending thugs to invade a pro-Atiku meeting that held in Bori at the weekend.
He described the attempt by the chairman to stop them from holding meetings as another round of tyranny from the state government.
The Chairman of Khana Local Government Council, Thomas Bariere, when contacted, said the interest of the government is to maintain peace and security of the area and that the police are investigating the matter.
