Wike suffocating businesses without creating any in 7 years – Chinyere Igwe

The member representing Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2 in the House of Representatives, Chinyere Igwe, has lambasted Governor Nyesom Wike for sealing off his petrol station over alleged oil bunkering.

Igwe said it is wrong for the governor to suffocate businesses in the state when he has not created one in the past seven years of his leadership.

The aggrieved lawmaker, in an interview with Atlantic Television Network, said his sealed facility had Rivers indigenes under its payroll.

According to him, he and other persons who projected the governor in 2015, were now living in regrets because of his style of politics.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain described Wike as an intolerable person and apologised to Rivers people for supporting the governor in 2015.

Recall that Governor Nyesom Wike had on Saturday, ordered the arrest of Igwe, a day after the government sealed businesses owned by PDP chieftains loyal to its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

Security operatives attached to Government House, Port Harcourt, had in the early hours of Friday, sealed off a hotel, lounge, and a petrol station, belonging to three chieftains of the PDP in the state.
