Man United preseason streak comes to an end

Manchester united pre season three-match winning streak came to a end at Old Trafford against fellow English side Aston villa.

Manchester united who were leading at half time with 2 goals up with the opening goal from Jadon Sancho and an own goal from Matty Cash came back after half time to concede two goals to draw the game with the match leveling goal coming at stoppage time.

The goal ended Ten Hag’s three-match winning streak in charge of United. However, the Dutch manager believes the draw provides his side with important lessons for the season ahead.

Man united’s boss Erik Ten Haag spoke after the end of the match saying ” We were really good in the first, we had a lot of good movement and scored great goals. Then we had a dip in focus in the second half. The guys got tired but that’s no excuse, they have to perform”

“That’s what we didn’t do in the second period.” reports per sky sports

Man Utd will continue their pre-season campaign with a friendly game against Atletico Madrid on Saturday.
