Ayodele Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti state has said that it is the turn of the Southern part of Nigeria to produce president in 2023.
Fayose said that the current President Muhammadu Buhari’s presidency is two-term presidency and should return to the South.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP chieftain disclosed this in a tweet on Wednesday.
The party’s presidential candidate and former vice-president, Atiku Abubakar is from the North East.
His emergence has widened the cracks within the party’s ranks.
He said: cThe current President of Nigeria is a 2-term Northern Presidency, thus implying that it MUST be a Southern Presidency in 2023 or NOTHING. Awa ‘South’ lo kan’. Nigerians should await details soon”.
