Analyst says Nigerians don’t need Tinubu or Atiku for president

Brave Dickson

A political analyst in Rivers State, Dr Omenasu Jackson has said that the country does not need either Bola Tinubu or Atiku Abubakar as president in 2023.

Jackson who is the Chancellor of the International Society for Social Justice and Human Rights said the All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party made wrong choices in electing the duo of Tinubu and Atiku as their presidential candidates.

The two main political parties had concluded their presidential primaries with the emergence of Atiku as the candidate of the PDP and Tinubu as the candidate of the APC.

Jackson told our correspondent that “Tinubu and Atiku had worked with the government at the centre and could not affect any positive change.

“PDP and APC have made wrong choices to have allowed Atiku and Tinubu to fly their 2023 presidential flags.

“Nigerians don’t need any of these two candidates to rule this country.

“They contributed to the insecurity and bad governance plaguing the nation today and the result of this forthcoming election will shock a lot of people as Nigerians will not vote across party lines but will elect fresh minds.

“It is very unfortunate to be seeing those who had not to help this country still pushing hard to be president.”

The analyst further said that the vote of Nigerians in 2023 will not be bought as it used to be, adding that Nigerians are tired of having the likes of Atiku and Tinubu in government.
