Rivers APC aspirants pledge to support whoever emerges as flagbearer

Ten governorship aspirants under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, have declared to support whoever emerges flagbearer of the party in the state.

The governorship hopefuls disclosed this in a communique issued after their meeting in Port Harcourt on Monday.

The communique read by George Tolofari, a former commissioner said the aspirants have resolved to put aside acrimony and work together.

He said all aspirants have also agreed to educate their followers to avoid attacks on others because their structures would be collapsed into one after the primaries.

Present at the meeting include the immediate past Director-General, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, Dr Dakuku Peterside; Dr Sokonte Davies; Biokpomabo Awara; Tonye Cole, Tonye Princewill amongst others
