Abe’s supporters declare zero support for Amaechi’s 2023 presidential aspiration

Brave Dickson

Supporters of Senator Magnus Abe have come out to declare their zero support for the 2023 presidential aspiration of the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.

Amaechi on Saturday declared his intention to contest for the highest political office in the country in 2023.

The supporters under the aegis of the Rivers Boys For Freedom described Amaechi as autocratic, adding that someone like Amaechi shouldn’t be given the chance to govern the country.

The President-General of the group, Dominic Dumekpigi told our correspondent that Amaechi does not want others to grow in politics, accusing the minister of destroying internal democracy in Rivers APC.

He said, “We, the Rivers Boys For Freedom will not support Amaechi’s presidential aspiration come 2023.

“Amaechi is an autocratic leader who does not want others to grow in politics.

“He (Amaechi) did not consult our leader, Senator Abe before declaring for president, therefore, we can not support anyone including Amaechi who does not believe in Abe.

“We will give our support to former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu who has shown capacity to raise countless politicians.”
