Uniport postpones convocation ceremony indefinetly

The University of Port Harcourt has announced the postponement of its convocation ceremony slated to hold on the 1st and 2nd of April, 2022.

A statement by the school management through its spokesperson, Sam Kpenu, said “The 33rd Combined Convocation ceremony for the award of diplomas, first degrees, postgraduate diplomas, higher degrees, honorary degrees and prize presentation earlier scheduled to hold on the, has been postponed by the Management of the University of Port Harcourt.

“A statement signed by the Registrar, Dr Gloria Chindah conveyed this message to the public.

“The statement by the Registrar stated that the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Georgewill regrets the inconveniences this new development might have caused the public, graduands, their parents, sponsors, the stakeholders and esteemed invited guests.

“A new date would be communicated in due course.”
