EFCC arrests 31 suspected internet fraudsters in benin

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), says it has arrested 31 suspected internet fraudsters in Benin City, the Edo State capital.

A statement by EFCC Head of Media, Wilson Uwujaren, said the suspects were allegedly picked from “their hideouts”.

The suspects are Lucky Tejiri, Clinton Amanemiye, Bright Omokhua, Aisosa Enobahkre, Imariable Aisosa Collins, Osamede Egboiy Nicholas, Louis Ekharuyi, Omokhua Destiny and Omagbon Friday Harry among others were said to be in possession of several laptops and mobile phones at the time of the arrest.

Others itesm recovered from they include Lexus ES 300, Mercedes Benz GLK 350, Lexus RX330, Lexus RX350, 3 Mercedes Benz C300, and Mercedes Benz C350 4Matic.

According to Uwujaren, the suspects have made useful statements and will be arraigned in court at the end of investigations.
