Eguma wins LBA Manager Of The Month

The League Bloggers Association LBA has named Rivers United Technical Adviser Stanley Eguma as the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League’s NPFL Manager of the Month for January.

Coach Stanley Eguma led Rivers United to three wins against Kwara United, MFM FC, and Heartland FC and three draws against Sunshine Stars, Niger Tornadoes, and Remo Stars in the month of January.

Rivers United were also unbeaten during this period scoring 10 goals and conceding just 3 goals as the team currently occupies the top spot in the NPFL.

Eguma beat the likes of Deji Ayeni, Fidelis Ilechukwu, and Gbenga Ogunbote to the award.

Rivers United vs Rangers To Go Ahead On Sunday

Rivers United’s Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 14 tie in Port Harcourt against Rangers International FC will go ahead as in the original fixture on Sunday 20th February 2022, the League Management Company has confirmed.

This readjustment was contained in a letter received by the club dated 14th February 2022 and signed by the Chief Operating Officer Mr. Salihu Abubakar.

“Kindly be informed that stated below, previously rearranged for Monday 21st February 2022, remains as it was stated in the original fixture. Find below the details of the match.”
