Go Round FC eye a return to NPFL

The General Manager of Nigeria National League NNL side, Go Round FC, Soni Uboh says the team is committed to returning to the Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL.

Soni Uboh said this ahead of the kick-off of Nigeria National League NNL on February 11.

He said that the club plans to go all the way in the league this season.

Uboh noted that the lower league side has recruited committed players who are hungry for success.

“We have recruited right and we have a financier who is willing to ensure the players do not lack the basics they need to be comfortable on the job.

“At Go Round FC, we always go for committed players and we believe that this time around, it will pay off for us.”

Otega is Go Round FC captain

Go Round FC will start the 2021/ 22 Nigeria National League, NNL season with Akaba Otega as captain of the side.

Otega will be assisted by Akinwale Ogunjobi, who has been named as 1st Assistant captain, while Okon Otop is 2nd Assistant captain.

Go Round FC is currently in training at the Krisdera Hotel Stadium ahead of the new NNL season.

Captain of the side, Akaba Otega has himself spoken about the ambitions of the side ahead of the new season.

“We are committed to taking the club back to the Nigeria Professional Football League and with the right support from the management and right attitude from the players, I believe we will make it.”

The coaching crew is still led by Ngozi Elechi and he is assisted by Abiye Tamuno Iyalla, Okey Eluozor, and Nnanna Campbell.

The club president is Charity Obuah, while the financier is Felix Obuah.
