Actress Ini Edo welcomes baby girl through surrogacy

Popular Nollywood actress, Ini Edo has welcomed a baby girl through surrogacy.

In an interview with popular Instagram blogger, Stella Dimoko Korkus, the popular actress disclosed that she made use of a surrogate to carry and birth her daughter. She also disclosed hat her eggs were used.

She said, “I do have a daughter and I had her through surrogacy. The eggs are mine and so genetically, she’s my blood. I chose this path to fulfil my dream of becoming a mother.”

On her baby’s father, Edo said, “I opted for a donor for me and my baby’s peace of mind.”

When asked by the interviewer whether she intends show off her daughter on social media, the actress said “I really want to keep my baby off social media , this is why one been reluctant putting her out there. I would love to keep everything about her private for now. There are a lot of celebrities whose children are not growing up on social media pages and they are living normal lives. That is how I want it for my daughter.”

The actress disclosed that marriage is not her priority at the moment and she has her hands full with the responsibility of her daughter’s upbringing.
