Gunmen kill three in Imo

No less than three persons have lost their lives when yet-to-be-identified gunmen attacked Anara Community in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.

It was gathered that gunshots had rented the air at about 10 pm on Tuesday in the community.

According to local sources, three persons were killed during the attack.

A local source said one of the persons killed was a commercial motorcycle operator.

He added that the community is still in shock following the killings.

The Imo Police Public Relations Officer Mike Abattam, who confirmed the development, said that the command had commenced investigations into the incident to apprehend the perpetrators.
