Rivers police nab two for producing adulterated drinks

The Rivers state police command has arrested and paraded two suspects for producing and selling adulterated alcoholic drinks at Oil Mill market.

The Rivers State Police Command uncovered and raided a house where fake alcoholic drinks including Campari and Chelsea packaged in both sachets and bottles are produced at Eliogbolo community in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area.

While being interviewed by newsmen, the suspects disclosed that the have a distribution network that oversees and circulates their products round the city. They also disclosed to the news men about their stand at the popular Oil Mill market where their products are marketed.

Spokesperson of the Rivers state police command, SP Nnamdi Omoni, made the disclosure while parading the suspected producers of the fake drinks on Monday.
