Popular Nollywood actress, Ireti Doyle has allegedly used the Interpol to arrest a lady who criticised her over her complicity in her daughter’s numerous fraudulent activities.
The arrested critic whose name was not made public was said to have been released by the intervention of popular activist, Sega Awosanya also known as Sega Links.
Concerned Nigerians, a civil society organisation while condemning the arrest said it “can confirm that Ms. Ireti Doyle is using the Interpol to pick up victims of her daughter’s alleged fraudulent activities.
” We understand that she is using the Nigerian Police to intimidate and harass those who spoke up on the matter.
“Concerned Nigerians condemn this abhorrent abuse of Powers.
“We call on the victims to reach out to us via the DMs. We will be following up this case.
“@IretiolaDoyle, you have us to contend with. Stop using your connections to corrupt people to intimidate innocent Nigerians”.
Recall that earlier in September, the actress’ daughter, Ngozikachi Abimbola Onyeulo, the Chief Executive Officer of Kachi Beauty, was accused of swindling people out of their hard-earned money.
After being tagged constantly as a part of her business, Ireti had released a disclaimer saying she has no part in Ngozikachi’s business and the relationship shared with her is just being her mother.
