Some Investors of MBA Trading and Capital Investment Limited have threatened to dump corpses of deceased investors at the family home of its CEO, Maxwell Odum.

The investors who were numbering over a hundred staged a peaceful visit, to the Palace of the Paramount Ruler of Elekehia, Port Harcourt City Local government area, Eze Anthony Worlu Akarolo, to express their pain, anguish and sufferings as a result of alleged fraud, by their son Maxwell Odum.

Speaking to journalist during the visit, the Leader of the MBA victims Group, Christian Agadaga, appealed to the monarch to intervene and summon the CEO MBA Trading and Capital Investment Limited, Maxwell Odum, who is an indigene of Elekehia community, as victims of the alleged fraud are dying on daily basis.

He also appealed to President Mohammadu Buhari to mandate the Inspector General of Police to fish out and prosecute the accused.

“We are here to pay a visit to the Paramount Ruler in Maxwell Odum’s community and his kinsmen, Nigerians from all works of life are disgruntled. Some have died out of frustration, some are doomed, some are in deep pains and some hospitalized because Maxwell Odum, an indigene of Elekahia community has defrauded Nigerians in their billions of Naira.

“We also use this opportunity to call on Mr. President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Mohammadu Buhari to shift a little focus on financial banditry, because Maxwell Wali Odum is a financial terrorist and bandits, he should be fished out, he cannot be smarter than Nigeria.

“We are calling on the President to mandate the inspector general of Police, Usman Baba Alkali to make sure that they step up their game and fish out Maxwell Odum. We collectively as investors have made a claim, we have also made a decision that henceforth, any person that dies as a result of MBA forex fraud, we will liaise with the family of that victim and take the dead body of that victim to the very gate of Maxwell’s house, we know that it would be very shameful but Maxwell has caused more shame, we are not backing out no matter how long it takes for us to get back our money.”

In his response, the Paramount Ruler of Elekehia, Eze Anthony Worlu Akarolo, thanked the group for their peaceful disposition in expressing their grievances and promised to investigate the claims and intervene accordingly.

“This is a very serious matter and I would not allow it to lie low, my community has been a very peaceful place and we are not known to be involved in this kind of act. I will look into it holistically to know what actually happened.

“I am going to approach the parents and also Maxwell in question to know how he came about all this, I want you all to be calm in your approach, I promise everything will work out fine.”

On his part, the Chairman, Rivers Civil Society Organisations, Enefaa Georgwill, urged the monarch to rise above nepotism and ensure justice, as the credibility, integrity of his palace and that of the state were at stake.

“For us as Civil Society Organisations, we appreciate the fact that the paramount ruler would hear from all sides, we are appealing to the Royal Highness to live above board by not taking sides with his kinsmen and subject.

“His Royal Highness should know that the integrity of his palace, Elekahia community, Ikwerre land and Rivers is on a scale and trial, therefore his royal Highness should use his good office to call his subject, Maxwell Weli Odum to make sure that all these victims that he defrauded are refunded.”
