An Anglican Priest from Eleme, Rev. Prof. Cornelius Ngochindo, has discovered a remedy that will permanently put an end to amputations resulting from gangrene-infected diabetic wounds.
He revealed this during a press conference held in his office in Port Harcourt on Thursday.
Rev. Prof. Ngochindo said he achieved this feat after years of research, at the end of which he developed a medicinal cream which he named Ngobebe Herbal Cream.
According to Rev Prof. Cornelius Ngochindo, the herbal cream had been very effective in the treatment of diabetes-related wounds.
He disclosed that already, Ngobebe Herbal Cream has been registered by the National Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), after inspecting their facilities and carrying out an analysis of the cream.
TPCN confirmed that the NAFDAC registration number of Ngobebe Herbal Cream is: A7-4791L.On how to apply Ngobebe Herbal Cream, Ngochindo, who studied medicine in Hungary, explained: “The cream is self-massaging, so you don’t need to massage the wound with it. Just apply very sparingly because it can burn the skin. In case it hurts the skin, apply any oil on the skin.
“Apply on both limbs, even on the non-affected limb, twice daily. Make sure you apply it on the face of the wound. Keep the wound out of the reach of water. Apply the cream directly on the surface of the wound and its surroundings gently and sparingly.
“Do not apply a bandage. Use little gauze or cotton wool, just a slight quantity, on the wound to allow air to get to the wound. The cream is not hot on the body but penetrates on its own into the skin.
“The visiting professor in Diabetology at Pecs University boasted that with the cream, there would be no need to amputate people’s legs and limbs again because of diabetic ulcers/wounds.
He noted that apart from diabetic ulcers, the preventive and curative herbal cream, which is composed of hexadecanoic acid, methyester, Z, E-2, 13-octadecandien-1-01 and other tropical herbal supplements, can also be used to treat arthritis, varicose veins, stroke, candidiasis, burns, pimples on the face (furunculosis), after-shave bumps, snake bites and eczema, ringworm and other skin diseases.
Ngochindo gave further explanation of how Ngobebe Herbal Cream heals diabetic ulcers.
“In diabetic patients, there are sludges in the blood vessels and these impede the flow of blood along that affected region of the body if it is pricked by nail or the region suffers any injuries. With time, no blood flows into that region; so it is necrosed.
“This means that there is no thorough-fare for blood and nutrients to flow through the affected part because of the blockade of the blood vessels, thus a gangrene or diabetic ulcer is formed.”One can like the scene to that of blocked pipe water. There is no way water can ever flow through the pipe again unless a plumber works on the pipe and removes the debris.
“This cream – Ngobebe Herbal Cream – does the work of a plumber by gently and slowly dissolving and
and removing the precipitations, thus securing a free way of the flow of blood and nutrients. This brings about the cure.
“Therefore, with this knowledge, this cream is very useful for preventive measures also. That is, a diabetic patient does not need to wait until he gets a wound. He uses this cream so that if he ever gets injured, the wound will heal in time and can never be gangrenous,” he said.
Confirming the effectiveness of the herbal cream, Mrs Rejoice Ogechi, a consultant to Bebe Chemicals and Medicals Ltd, Prof. Ngochindo’s patent name, said: “It’s a very good product. He’s been using it for over ten years to treat people. We just want people to benefit from it.”
