Ex-Rivers council boss for burial three years after murder

Chiefs and people of Uyeada community in Andoni local government area will tomorrow hold a commendation service in honour of late Mrs Emilia Rogers Nte who was kidnapped and killed on 8th March 2019.

Nte was killed when gunmen invaded her home in Ngo, the capital of the LGA and kidnapped her.

Her corpse and those of other political big wigs in the LGA including Mowan Etete and Ignatius Bara Ephraim were killed and declared missing.

Until her death, she was a special adviser to Governor Nyesom Wike as well as a one time care taker committee chairman of the Andoni local government council.

A statement by Gilbert Moses indicates that the commendation service will hold at the Port Harcourt township school opposite civic centre Moscow road.

While on Sunday, April 25th of 2021 the Thanksgiving service holds at Soul Winning Family of God Church International at Diffri Road off Ozugboko, Aboloma Port Harcourt.

The late Mrs Emilia Rogers Nte was survived by six children and a mother amongst many too many to mention.
