Rita Edochie, a veteran Nollywood star, has finally reacted to the death of popular comedienne Ada Jesus.
The Nollywood star, which social media users previously called out for not forgiving Ada Jesus at the initial stage, has been caught in the middle of another backlash from fans after the death of the comedienne.
Reacting to the backlash and accusing fingers from fans who want her to be held responsible for Ada Jesus’, she took to her Instagram page and shared a five-minute sermon video where a Winners Chapel pastor preached about the importance of prayer because life is warfare and not fun fare.
According to the pastor in the video, ‘only the violent taketh it’ because violence is the key for triumphant living.
Edochie said that God made her a strong woman in the post’s caption, and she will remain that way. In her words: “JEEEEESUS is LORD forever. LORD ALMIGHTY MADE ME A STRONG WOMAN AND THAT I WILL REMAIN. THE SEED CAN NOT BE KILLED”
Still reacting to the backlash and accusations from fans, she shared a viral video of Kanye West rapping his popular Jesus Walks track onboard a plane. Some of the lyrics included the rapper asking God to show him the way because the devil was trying to bring him down.
The Comedienne Mmesoma Mercy Obi, popularly known as Ada Jesus, reportedly died on Wednesday, 21st of April, 2021, after suffering from a kidney-related ailment.
