NDU student shot by unknown gunman on campus

A young man has allegedly been shot at the Niger Delta University (NDU), Amassoma, Bayelsa state.

Sources say the gory incident happened in front of the Faculty of the Management Sciences at the new campus of the institution.

The victim, identified as James, a 200-level student of the university was rushed to the sick bay after the attack.

It was gathered that the victim had just left an early class and was about to go for community service when he was attacked.

It was disclosed that he was standing in front of the Faculty building, when he was shot at close range.

It is not clear if the victim is dead or alive as school authorities is yet to disclose further information.

Cause of the attack and perpetrator are still unknown as at the time of this report.
