Following the current beef between Dj Cuppy and Zlatan Ibile, where we reported the DJ Cuppy declared her intent on suing one Mr. Afeare Israel – who happens to be an aide to Davido for defamation of character.
After one week and three days of DJ Cuppy’s declaration, Mr. Afeare had apologized to DJ Cuppy. He agreed that his earlier statements against puppy were false. He also went ahead to beg her forgiveness for all the embarrassment he must have caused her and her family.
In the video which he shared on his Instagram handle, Mr. Afeare said “my name is Israel Afeare, I want to apologize to you, Cuppy Otedola for the things I said about you from my last post concerning you and Zlatan’s case. I am very sorry for the embarrassment this most have caused you and your family. Please do not be offended. It will never happen again. I am sorry. The statement I made about you is false, it was actually what I heard. Please don’t be offended… Thank you.”
Recall that last week we brought you news of the slander campaign started by Mr. Israel against DJ Cuppy where he alleged that DJ Cuppy abandoned Zlatan Ibile in Abuja during one of her shows.
As at the time of filing this report, DJ Cuppy is yet to make any statement concerning Mr. Israel’s apology.
