Buhari extends IGP’s tenure by 3 months

Muhammadu Buhari has extended the tenure of the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mohammed Adamu for another three months.

Maigari Dingyad, the Minister of Police Affairs, disclosed this on Thursday while briefing State House correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

According to him, Buhari decided to extend IGP’s tenure for another three months to give time for proper selection of the new IGP.
