Twelve policemen, five soldiers die in Boko Haram’s attack on Zulum’s convoy

The death toll from the attack on the Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, by Boko Haram insurgents has risen to 30.

AFP quoted two security sources who said that the number of fatalities from the attack Friday had doubled as more bodies were found.

The sources said the bodies found included 12 policemen, five soldiers, four members of a government-backed militia, and nine civilians

The governor’s convoy was attacked between Monguno and Baga areas of the state.
