Paul Vidag Kobani, the chairman of Gokana Local Government Area has reportedly been arrest by the operatives of the Rivers State Police Command over links to the neutralized notorious criminal, Bobosky and his criminal gang.
Bobosky whose real name was Honest Digbara operated in the LGA until he was arrested last week. He died hours later from his gunshot injuries.
PM news quoted Nnamdi Omoni, the public relations officer of the command as confirming the arrest.
Omoni said crack detectives are investigating the Chairman to authenticate allegations of his alleged link to the notorious gang leader.
It was gathered that the council boss is being held at the Mile 1 Police Station Port Harcourt after he was arrested at his residence around 4.00 am on Thursday.
