Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has personally led security agencies to rescue the erstwhile acting managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Joi Nunieh.
Nunieh was billed to testify before a House Committee on NDDC to explain her role in the financial fraud taking place at the agency.
However, armed security agencies laid siege on her residence and blocked her from leaving for Abuja.
Wike also moved her to government house.
