Two covid-19 patients deliver babies at UPTH

The University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, UPTH, says its Covid-19 team has successfully delivered babies to two Covid 19 Patients.

The hospital said the Covid-19 team made of excellent doctors, nurses, hygienists, and paramedics/support staff successfully delivered two women who were Covid-19 positive of their babies on Thursday.

The hospital told theportcitynews that the first delivery was a Spontaneous Vertex Delivery to a baby boy while the second was delivery by Elective Caesarian Section also to a beautiful baby girl.

It added that mothers and babies are doing well and have continued to be on management for Covid-19.
