Rivers APC chieftain collapses, dies

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State, Nnamdi Wuche has died.

Family sources said the politician collapsed at home but was immediately rushed to the hospital where he slipped into a coma.

The sources said the politician succumbed to the cold hands of death on Friday afternoon after spending days at the hospital.

Nwuche, a lawyer, was also a former caretaker committee chairman of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area under the Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi’s administration.

There has been an outpouring of tributes from friends and political associates, who described his death as a huge loss.
