APC NEC meeting is to resolve our internal crisis- Giadom

Victor Giadom said the aim of the NEC meeting is to resolve the existing crisis rocking the APC.

He said that every member of NEC has been invited to the meeting.

“Well, I don’t for the Presidency, but the President as the leader of the party has been invited to our NEC meeting and we expect that he will attend the meeting.

“First, the Agenda is to look at the on-going crisis at the party and find a solution to them. My position is very clear, the National Working Committee NWC cannot resolve the present crisis in our party. The higher organ of the party which is the National Executive Committee NEC has the responsibility to wade into this situation that we find ourselves.

“But I am worried at some of my colleagues who could not want to surrender the situation we find ourselves to a higher organ of the party that can find a solution for all of us.

“I, therefore want to advise everybody and my colleagues and the entire NEC members to avail themselves with the Zoom code that has been circulated to them and attend the meeting as scheduled.

Victor Giadom also denied insinuations that the NEC meeting was called to dissolve the National Working Committee of APC.

“Well, I don’t speak for the National Executive Committee NEC. NEC will decide, I am not aware that there is any intention to dissolve the National Working Committee, that is not before me. The collective decision of the entire committee will prevail at the end of the day and I will stand by the decision of the NEC.

“Every member of NEC has been invited and I challenge anybody who has not been given the invitation to call me” he said.
