APC NWC inaugurates Boms as Giadom’s replacement

Nworgu Boms, a chieftain of the Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has been inaugurated by the National Working Committee, NWC, of the party as the deputy national secretary.

This follows the decision of the NWC to declare Giadom’s seat vacant over his resignation from the post to contest the 2019 gubernatorial election in Rivers State and his subsequent declaration of himself as the acting national chairman of the party.

The party had been thrown into leadership crises after an appeal court affirmed the suspension Adams Oshiomhole as the national chairman.

The state chapter had also on Sunday suspended Giadom over alleged anti-party activities.
