Prof James Nwoye Adichie, the father of international writer and renowned author, Chimamanda Adichie has died, aged 88.
Adichie, a professor of statistics died yesterday night at Chira Memorial Hospital, Awkuzu Oyi local government of Anambra state at age of 88 years.
According to his son, Okey Adichie, who disclosed the incident on Thursday said “Our father, Professor J. N. Adichie, Odelora Abba, died late yesterday night, June 10, 2020, at Chira Memorial Hospital, Awkuzu,” he said.
