Atiku to run for presidency in 2023 – Son

Atiku Abubakar will in 2023 run again for the top office in the land, Adamu Atiku-Abubakar, his son has said.

Atiku was the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2019 Presidential election, and lost to the incumbent Muhammadu Buhari.

Adamu, who is the current commissioner for Works and Energy of Adamawa State disclosed this while presenting the scorecard of his ministry, as the administration of Governor Ahmadu Finitiri celebrates one year in office.

“Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with my father contesting for the presidency. In 2023, my father will be aspiring to the number one office in the land because he has been an astute, strategic, master politician for almost four decades”,

Atiku had contested for the number position for five (5) times and lost.
