A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senibo Daniel Leg Jack has died due to complications from coronavirus.
Leg Jack, a former chairman of the party in Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area fell to the virus on Sunday.
His death comes a week after the Local Government Chairman of Asari-Toru, Odiari Princewill died from the virus.
His remain was subsequently buried at the Port Harcourt Cemetary on Monday following Nigerian Center For Disease Control procedures on the burial of COVID-19 victims.
