A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in Rivers State, Chris Finebone, has said the fight against coronavirus by the state government is a big scam.
This followed pictures emanating from the just concluded inauguration of the new executives of the state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, which did not follow social distancing protocol.
Finebone, a former state publicity secretary of the APC called on the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC to self-isolate all those who attended the inauguration of the PDP, on Wednesday.
Finebone said the social distancing rule was breached at that inauguration.
The event which was attended by Governor Nyesom Wike; the national chairman of the party, Uche Secondus and a host of other dignitaries, has been widely criticised on social media.
Recall that residents had lambasted the party for not observing social distancing protocol during the protocol.
