Vigilante apprehends burglar in Port Harcourt

Diobu Vigilante Group in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area of Rivers State has apprehended one Michael, a member of three-man robbery gang specialized in breaking into people’s homes.

The said Michael and his gang members broke into one Stanley Okwudiri’s room at Urualla water front in Diobu and stole his generator set and fifteen thousand naira.

Stanley Okwudiri said the hoodlums broke into his room around 4am and stole his money and a generator set.

The Secretary of Diobu vigilante group Prince Amatari Bipeledei, however, assured residents that the fleeing members will equally be apprehended.

There had been several issues of robbery at the Diobu axis of Port Harcourt since the lockdown order by the state government.

Meanwhile, Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer Mr. Nnamdi Omoni when contacted said that the report is sketchy and promised to get back to our Correspondent.
