Fire outbreak claims 3 in Rivers community

Florence Uwaeme

The residents of Alikor estate in Choba Community, Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State were awakened by a fire outbreak today, Tuesday 28th April 2020 by 5:45am.
It was gathered that the residents tried all they could to contain the fire but not until it had claimed the lives of a business woman and her two daughters.
Residents say they suspect the fire must have been caused by the kerosene she deals on which she also stores in her self contain apartment where she lives with her two children and partner.

The three were burnt beyond recognition while their charred bodies have been deposited in a mortuary.
