The Rivers State Football Association has suspended all football-related activities in the state due to coronavirus.
The Rivers State FA in a statement signed by the Secretary Kingsley Woke said the suspension is with immediate effect.
The statement, however, called on relevant stakeholders to comply with the directive for their own good and in the interest of the state.

You could recall that the Nigeria Football Federation NFF had suspended all football-related activities in the country.
”Sequel to the earlier suspension by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the Rivers State Football Association (RSFA) do request that all football-related activities in the state no matter the size of the crowd should be suspended with immediate effect till further notice. We enjoin all stakeholders to comply with this order for the interest of the general public in respect of the prevailing COVID-19” he said.
