The son former vice-president and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2019 general election, Atiku Abubakar, has tested positive for coronavirus.

Atiku took to his social media handle to ask for prayers for his son.
The Nigerian Centre for Disease and Control, NCDC, has said that Nigeria’s biggest source of risk is travellers returning from high-risk countries and called on them to self-isolate for 14 days.
He appealed to Nigerians is to take responsibility and prevent further transmission of the virus, adding that collective action is critical to control spread.
