Police in Rivers State have arrested three persons suspected to have robbed and killed a driver at the Eleme trailer park, Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State.
They were alleged to have buried the victim after killing him.
The state’s Anti Cultism Unit of the command during a stop and search operation arrested a lead who could not provide documents for the car he was driving.
The unit led by CSP Ahijo Lawson upon investigation discovered that the driver was a receiver who sells cars for snatchers.
The arrested driver reportedly took the police to the alleged vehicle snatchers who reportedly confessed to have killed the man and took them to the shallow grave where he was buried.
It was further gathered that the Police exhumed the remains of the murdered driver which was handed over to his wife.
